After another embarrassing loss to a 2-win team on Thursday night, the Pittsburgh Steelers are suddenly looking for answers.

Mitch Trubisky filled in for the injured Kenny Pickett, and just a few moments into the game, fans were already booing the backup quarterback. It was clear, early on, the Steelers' quarterback situation is going to be their downfall, if Trubisky is going to start any more games.

But, Pickett has also not been playing great football this year, overall. What if the Steelers simply need to re-evaluate and revamp the position altogether?

Looking ahead to this coming offseason, the Steelers have options if they want to find a new starting quarterback. Let's look at five good ones, in particular.

1. Jayden Daniels, LSU

With where the Steelers are set to pick in the 2024 NFL Draft, right now, they could very well end up drafting LSU quarterback Jayden Daniels, who is viewed as the no. 3 quarterback in the class. Daniels is a true dual-threat who is putting up monster numbers in his final season with the Tigers this year.

So far, Daniels has thrown for 3,812 yards, 40 touchdowns and only four picks. He has also rushed for over 1,100 yards and 14 touchdowns on the ground. Daniels has proven that he is definitely worth a first-round pick and could wind up being the next great running quarterback, but he's also got the passing chops to go with.

It would be totally different from what the Steelers are accustomed to, but Daniels' skill set might be a breath of fresh air that brings a whole lot more points scored to Pittsburgh.
