The Steelers 2024 schedule just dropped a couple of days ago, and there are plenty of tough games on there. Their final month of the upcoming campaign poses to be the toughest stretches for any team in the NFL this season. Just because that will be the toughest stretch doesn't necessarily mean that it will be the most important for Pittsburgh.

Plenty of opportunities will be presented to the Steelers throughout their schedule to get ahead of certain teams. If they can beat their opponents in these important games then it will do wonders for them when it comes time for the playoff picture to be set. It won't be easy, but the black and gold have a chance to make the playoffs this year.

Week 18: Cincinnati Bengals vs Pittsburgh Steelers

The Bengals start off the list here as the Steelers host them to close out their 2024 regular season. We will see if the Bengals return to form this year and if Joe Burrow can stay healthy, Cincinnati is going to be a thorn in the side of the entire AFC North again. If the Bengals are rolling this year, then they might be resting their starters in this game. A situation like that would provide a prime opportunity for the Steelers to pounce on.

Week 16: Pittsburgh Steelers vs Baltimore Ravens

Another massive AFC North matchup for the Steelers towards the tail end of the schedule. Pittsburgh travels to Baltimore in a tough divisional game. The black and gold have owned this matchup in recent years, but that doesn't mean these are easy wins. It is going to be a tough and physical contest that will come down to the wire. Expect the Ravens to be the favorites to win the division this season.

Week 7: New York Jets vs Pittsburgh Steelers

Under the lights at home, Pittsburgh will play host to Sunday Night Football as they welcome the Jets to town. Aaron Rodgers is back, and it seems like he shouldn't miss a beat since missing last season due to injury. New York has a strong team and should push the Bills for the AFC East division champs this year. The Steelers need to win this game, especially if both the Bills and Jets try and squeak their way into the playoffs.

Week 3: LA Chargers vs Pittsburgh Steelers

This one isn't going to be on the radar for most in terms of importance when you look at the Steeler's schedule. The Chargers are a completely different team and Jim Harbaugh should be able to turn their ship around in a better direction. Justin Herbert will cause issues by himself. LA will have some bumps along the way, but they could be a fringe playoff team. The Steelers have to find ways to beat teams like the Chargers on the regular this season to have a chance at the playoffs.
