Ravens: S Kyle Hamilton

Given the choice, I would almost always pick the best players at the most valuable positions to add to the Steelers roster. But what if you could potentially have both? Right now, the weakest position on the team is slot cornerback. Kyle Hamilton would offer an instant upgrade to a secondary that currently has no answer at the position.

Yes, Hamilton is a safety for the Ravens, but he has outstanding versatility thanks to his freakish length, high football, IQ, and great closing speed. It's because of this that Baltimore entrusted him with 354 slot cornerback snaps as a rookie. And what did he do with his opportunities? In his rookie season in 2022, Hamilton managed 4 interceptions and earned the highest grade among all NFL safeties, per Pro Football Focus -- even higher than Minkah Fitzpatrick.

Hamilton would be the perfect chess-piece addition to the roster who would be an X-Factor all around the field. He could play strong safety alongside Minkah in base defense while kicking out to the slot in nickel and dime packages.

Hamilton just turned 22 years old this offseason, and he could quickly establish himself as one of the best safeties in the league in 2023. There are quality players at more valuable positions on the Ravens roster to pick from if given the choice, but Kyle Hamilton would ensure that this defense gets back to its elite status this year.
