Another great selection here by the black and gold as they get a plug-and-play starter at left guard. It will be interesting to see what Pittsburgh does if they are able to get a top tackle in the first round of the draft. They could envision moving Moore to guard and having him replace Kevin Dotson as the starter. If that is the case, then a guard might not be an immediate need here.

Knowing what we do now, the Steelers could not pass up the opportunity to draft the best guard in this draft. O'Cyrus Torrence has gotten a lot of praise since his dominant week at the Senior Bowl, and that is going to get his name into the first-round conversation. He is still sitting there at the start of the second round here and the organization cannot pass him up.

Some might be surprised that Siaki Ika fell to the second pick of this round for the black and gold, but it could be realistic. Most see Ika as a nose tackle when he jumps to the NFL, with a slight possibility to become a three-down defender. No matter if he is a true nose tackle or not, this is a great value pick by the Steelers at this point in the draft.

They fill a major need by taking Ika here, and they should be able to stop their opposition's rushing attack from now on. That is the main reason why the black and gold can justify this selection with one of their top picks in the draft. Ika will come in and be a starter, but DeMarvin Leal could also create a solid duo with Ika with coming into pass-down scenarios.
