It's a good week to be a Pittsburgh Steelers fan. With the 2024 NFL Draft in the books, experts have been busy raving about Omar Khan's impressive draft haul for the second straight year. Now comes the time when we will be diving into the tape and giving our analysis for each selection.

In the meantime, Steelers news isn't dying down anytime soon. Since the draft concluded, Pittsburgh has been involved in trade rumors and draft grades continue to flood in. Here's the latest news.

PFF hands Steelers perfect draft grades 2 years in a row

Recently, Pro Football Focus handed out early NFL Draft grades for all 32 teams. For Pittsburgh's outstanding work finding talented players on all three days, the Steelers received an 'A+' draft grade from PFF.

This is the second straight year that Pittsburgh has earned a perfect draft grade from Pro Football Focus, and some believe that this year's draft haul rivals what they did in 2023.

Omar Khan's career as general manager is off to an awesome start. After landing players like Broderick Jones, Joey Porter Jr., Keeanu Benton, and Nick Herbig in his first offseason as GM in 2023, Khan showed that it wasn't a fluke when he drafted OT Troy Fautanu, C Zach Frazier, WR Roman Wilson, LB Payton Wilson, and OG Mason McCormick this year.

When referencing the consensus draft board, Pittsburgh knocked it out of the park. We obviously need to see how their picks turn out in the long run, but early draft grades couldn't be higher.

Bryant McFadden teases Steelers trade rumor

Early this week, former Steelers cornerback and current CBS Sports analyst, Bryant McFadden teased fans by posting that Pittsburgh is 'very close to landing a significant playmaker.'

This trade rumor was later refuted by Steelers GM Omar Khan on The Pat McAfee Show who brushed it off. Khan claimed there's 'nothing going on right now' and 'nothing to report.'

With so many trade rumors involving the Pittsburgh Steelers, fans have a right to question whether or not Khan is being truthful about the situation. If they were seeking a trade, this is something he doesn't need the whole world to know about until it actually happens.

James Harrison makes appearance with Omar Khan on The Pat McAfee Show

While discussing the state of the Pittsburgh Steelers on The Pat McAfee Show, Omar Khan had a surprise visitor. James Harrison popped into Khan's office

Khan joked that Harrison has 'no respect'. Khan went on to praise Harrison for being a Steeler great, saying 'It doesn't get much better than that guy right there.'

Pat McAfee jokingly asked if Harrison was coming back to play for the Steelers this year. Harrison humored him by saying he was in Khan's office to sign a contract and that the team would need him for at least three games this season.
