Steelers players whose jobs are now in jeopardy after free agency burst

1. Kevin Dotson will go from starter to a gameday inactive
One of the biggest losers in all of this is Kevin Dotson. While Dotson is a better player than the other three names on this list, he's also in one of the most unfortunate situations. As a two-year starter for Pittsburgh, the former fourth-round pick has been more than respectable at times. But now, Dotson is expected to see a big demotion.
In free agency, the Steelers signed a pair of offensive guards, and there's not a chance that either doesn't make the roster. Isaac Seumalo is expected to take Dotson's place as the starter, while Nate Herbig will be giving him a run for his money as the primary backup.
Pittsburgh doesn't need to give a helmet to four guards when they don't add special teams value. Therefore, Dotson could essentially be doing what Kendrick Green did last year: sitting on the bench in street clothes on Sundays.
This is a very unfortunate situation for a previously starting guard entering the prime of his NFL career. Don't be surprised if Dotson asks to be traded because of Pittsburgh's interior offensive line additions in free agency.
