New Orleans Saints (5-4) vs Minnesota Vikings (5-4), Sunday at 1 P.M. EST
Prediction: Saints 21, Vikings 20
Josh Dobbs's mania is running wild as the former Steelers quarterback led the Vikings to an improbable win last week. The Saints have issues on their roster, but they will have a whole week to try and prepare for Dobbs. It should be a close game that ends in another nail-biter. Dobbs's magic won't be enough in this one as the Saints hold onto their division lead.
Green Bay Packers (3-5) vs Pittsburgh Steelers (5-3), Sunday at 1 P.M. EST
Prediction: Steelers 23, Packers 20
We have reached a game where the Steelers are actually favored to win. This matchup has trap game written all over it for Pittsburgh as few experts are picking the Packers to win this one with all of their struggles. The black and gold should be able to elevate the Green Bay problems on offense this week. That should open the door for the Steelers offense from there.
Expect Kenny Pickett to get the ball moving off play-action passes after Pittsburgh establishes a solid rushing attack. The big difference maker here will be which quarterback can play efficiently when their number is called upon to make a play. Have to assume Pickett will in the fourth quarter as his late-game stats continue to trend in a positive outlook.
Tennessee Titans (3-5) vs Tampa Bay Buccaneers (3-5), Sunday at 1 P.M. EST
Prediction: Buccaneers 25, Titans 23
A toss-up game here as either side could win this battle but expect Tampa Bay to find a way to win with their division being so tight this year. The Titans are coming off a tough loss and that should make things tougher on Will Levis each week from now on. Teams will be able to scout him better the more he starts and that should allow for the Bucs to get after him.
