Steelers vs Browns: Who the experts are taking in this Week 2 AFC North battle
Final prediction has the Steelers losing in another frustrating game
This is a winnable game for Pittsburgh and one they need to win if they want to start changing the minds of many watching this club. Cleveland did blow out the Bengals, but they did not do too many things that were super impressive during that contest. Expect this to be much closer than last week, but it's hard to expect the Steelers offense to be much different.
Stopping Nick Chubb and Deshaun Watson will be the game changer here for the black and gold. If they can do that despite dealing with significant injuries on both sides of the ball, the Steelers will walk out of the stadium with a relatively easy win. Both defenses should be able to stall these offenses for most of the game it will come down to which one can get more points on the board.
Final prediction: Browns 19, Steelers 16
With Cam Heyward out of the lineup, expect Chubb to get plenty of carries and yardage. Things will start to slow their offense down the closer they get to the red zone, which might cause them to settle for field goals. Turnovers will be another thing that could affect the outcome of this game directly. The Steelers offense is the difference maker here and how they adjust without Diontae Johnson, and potentially Chuks Okorafor.
Expect some more sustained drives from Pittsburgh compared to last week, but they won't be able to get in the end zone enough. Cleveland will have their own issues, but the success on the ground will get them close enough to stay in this game. Expect a last second field goal to send the home fans in attendance back to their homes in disappointment and frustration just like last week.
