Steelers finish off their offseason by adding strength to the offensive line

Offensive line (10): Dan Moore Jr., Chuks Okorafor, Darnell Wright, Le'Raven Clark, Isaac Suemalo, James Daniels, Mason Cole, John Michael Schmitz, Nate Herbig, Kevin Dotson

Adding a tackle and potentially a center in this draft could be on the table for this team. Offensive tackle seems to be a given, especially early into the draft for the Steelers. John Michael Schmitz would make a lot of sense in the second round if he is still available. This entire group has gotten an overhaul from last year, it is mostly just missing stability at tackle and the future at center.

Taking someone like Darnell Wright would cause a tricky situation on the left side of the line. Wright is a right tackle, but he could always be tried on his off-side to start off his career. More than likely, he would solidify the right tackle spot and leave Dan Moore Jr. and Chuks Okorafor battling for the starting spot on the left side, which will make fans shiver in disgust.

The interior of this offensive line is secure overall heading into the draft. The starters are in place and even competent backups sit there. Kevin Dotson could become an outlier, but he provides solid starting experience to keep around. Schmitz would be the primary backup at center and will become the starter after Mason Cole's contract ends after this season. This would be one of the strongest offensive lines for Pittsburgh in the past five years or more.
