Bringing back some familiarity mixed with a couple fresh faces

Defensive line (6): Cam Heyward, Larry Ogunjobi, DeMarvin Leal, Karl Brooks, Breiden Fehoko, Chris Wormley

Back to the trenches, we go as the defensive side will likely still try to add to this group early in the draft. They bring Karl Brooks aboard in this situation, which might not be the ideal case out there. He has a lot of experience as a standup edge rusher, but he is no stranger to putting his hand in the dirt on the line either. Brooks would be able to provide some quality depth at the end spot but would likely not be an answer at nose tackle.

Even though Brooks is not a traditional nose, that is not completely necessary for this current group. Both Breiden Fohoko and Armon Watts have experience at the nose spot and would battle Montravius Adams for that role. One would have to assume that Fehoko would be the lead man for that job if this group shakes out this way.

Chris Wormley is still recovering from his season-ending injury from last year, but he would be great depth for the line if he is healthy enough. Both starters at the end spots are locked into place and DeMarvin Leal will hopefully take a step forward in year two. He and Brooks kind of have the same type of pass-rushing hybrid flexibility from end to edge rusher on the outside for this defense.
