Updated Pittsburgh Steelers roster, depth chart ahead of the 2023 NFL Draft

Omar Khan was very busy during his first offseason as the general manager of the Pittsburgh Steelers. At the NFL Combine, Khan assured us that his decision-making and order of doing business would reflect that of former GM Kevin Colbert.

So far, the combination of Omar Khan and assistant GM Andy Weidl has gone over well with fans. Pittsburgh's front office came out swinging since the bell rung to begin free agency -- cutting ties with players who were falling short of expectations and adding new projected starters.

We aren't done yet either. The Steelers have three picks inside the top 50 overall selections in the NFL Draft, and they won't come away empty-handed. As of now, here's a look at the Pittsburgh Steelers roster and depth chart just ahead of the 2023 NFL Draft.

With seven total selections in the upcoming draft, there will be a handful of new names and even potential starters added to this list. As you can see, the Steelers are remarkably thin right now at positions like offensive tackle and edge defender. They could even use another quarterback to round out their roster.

Many of these needs will be met at some point in the draft while others may have to come in the form of free agency when the dust settles on the busy month of April. The Steelers roster is looking much different from last year and there are sure to be some major depth chart shake-ups between now and the start of the 2023 regular season. We have a full summer to look forward to and everything in between.
