Everyone in Pittsburgh is happy now that the Steelers were able to silence some doubts after their Week 10 matchup. It might not have been pretty, but their win over the Washington Commanders might have been the most significant of the season to date. With that game in the rearview mirror, many in the Steel City have high hopes. The future outlook of this team remains clouded.

Despite their success to this point in the schedule, those in the front office of the Steelers remain focused on scouting. Not only with prospects in the upcoming 2025 NFL Draft, but potential targets in free agency. Mock drafts are always a fun exercise to see where certain prospects could fall and which could become members of the Steelers when the draft comes around in late April.

Steelers mock draft round 1: Shavon Revel, CB, East Carolina

Get ready everyone because Shavon Revel could be the next version of Quinyon Mitchell this time around. Revel has fantastic size for a cornerback, and taking him here at this point in the mock draft is quality value for the Steelers. He should fit into their defensive scheme rather easily. With Donte Jackson potentially leaving in free agency this offseason, Revel can start if Pittsburgh wants him to.

Steelers mock draft round 2: Xavier Restrepo, WR, Miami

Pittsburgh might have added Mike Williams before the trade deadline, but they need to find long-term answer. Xavier Restrepo fits the perfect mold for what the black and gold normally look for when they draft at the receiver position. Restrepo is seen as a slot guy at the next level, but he could develop into other spots on the field. His production from last year through this season is off the charts.

Steelers mock draft round 3: Ajani Cornelius, OT, Oregon

With the poor performance of Broderick Jones and the long-term injury of Troy Fautanu, the Steelers need some insurance with their tackle positions. They take Ajani Cornelius who went from Rhode Island to Oregon in just a couple of years. He has continued to improve his game no matter the level of play he has faced. Cornelius has only played at right tackle, which could become a roadblock.

Steelers mock draft round 4: Derrick Harmon, DT, Oregon

He is still a young player coming into the draft, but Derrick Harmon is enjoying the best statistical season of his college career. The Steelers would love to get younger along the defensive line and that is why they use this pick in the mock draft on Harmon. He started off his career at Michigan State but went to Oregon this season, and thus far, it is paying off in the biggest way.

Steelers mock draft round 5: Dillon Gabriel, QB, Oregon

Pittsburgh goes with their third Oregon Duck player in a row for this mock draft by taking Dillon Gabriel. Oregon remains one of the highly favored programs to challenge for the National Championship, and a lot of that has to do with Gabriel. He is an undersized quarterback, but he has a ton of starting experience under his belt. He would be a nice developmental backup.

Steelers mock draft round 7: Donovan Edwards, RB, Michigan

Things have changed within the Michigan program this year, and Donovan Edwards has seen negative effects on his draft stock because of it. For one reason or another, he has not seen a big role this year. The Steelers see past that and take him at this point in the mock draft. Edwards would fit into their backfield perfectly and could fill the void left behind by Najee Harris.

Steelers mock draft round 7: Jordan Hancock, S, Ohio State

They might have drafted Jordan Hancock as a safety in this mock draft, but his versatility will have him playing all over the secondary. His availability at this point in the mock draft is music to the Steeler's ears. He can play outside cornerback, in the slot, or at different safety spots. Hancock can help fill Pittsburgh's need for someone in the slot and provide flexibility in the secondary.
