Steelers 2025 mock draft after Week 11: Pittsburgh lands masterclass haul with trade
Pittsburgh heads into the stretch part of their season with a great record. They are set up to see their Steelers make the playoffs and potentially make some noise once the postseason gets started. It won't be easy, but the black and gold have continued to prove their worth this year. Looking past this campaign is hard to fathom, but it is never too early to look ahead at potential future Steelers.
There will be plenty of talented prospects coming out of the 2025 NFL Draft. Some have questioned its depth compared to past years, but there are still quality prospects to consider for the black and gold. Omar Khan has culminated in some quality draft classes since becoming General Manager in Pittsburgh. If his draft turns out like this mock draft, then Khan will be labeled a hero once again.
Steelers pull off massive trade with one of their most hated rivals
As the first-round inches closer to the Steelers pick, Cleveland comes calling. They want to move up for a quarterback during the late portion of the round. Pittsburgh likes the trade offer the Browns send their way. The black and gold exchange third-round picks, but the Steelers gain an extra second-round choice to move back seven spots from their original top pick in the mock draft.
Steelers mock draft round 2: Kenneth Grant, DT, Michigan
He would've been a great choice at the Steeler's pick before the trade, but Kenneth Grant slips to them in round two. Many have eyes on his fellow Michigan teammate, Mason Graham, who will go in the first round. Grant has shown steady signs of growth in his game since joining Michigan. Pittsburgh wants to add some quality youth to their defensive front and Grant will fit perfectly.

Steelers mock draft round 2: Kyren Lacy, WR, LSU
Another prospect for the Steelers in this mock draft who has shown quality signs of progression through his production. Kyren Lacy would be a perfect fit with the Steelers as he can jump onto the field and become their second option on offense opposite of George Pickens. It is abundantly clear the black and gold need to solve the receiver position this offseason, or it could hinder them further.
Steelers mock draft round 3: Maxwell Hairston, CB, Kentucky
Keep cornerback on your radar as a potential major need when the draft comes around. Many are ignoring it, but the Steelers could need an outside starting cornerback and potentially a player in the slot. Maxwell Hairston is someone who should test well during the pre-draft process, and the Steelers will love the amount of Hairston's family who participated in collegiate and pro sports.
Steelers mock draft round 3: Ollie Gordon II, RB, Oklahoma State
If he was able to jump into the draft last year, Ollie Gordon II would have been in first-round discussions. He has slipped in terms of his production, but the bar was set too high based on last season. The Steelers will likely lose Najee Harris, so they need a running back who could take over the top duties. Gordon can handle that pressure, but having Jaylen Warren will help bring him along.
Steelers mock draft round 4: Armand Membou, OT, Missouri
Offensive tackle could remain a need for the Steelers going into next year. They will have Broderick Jones and Troy Fautanu back, but they have to figure out who will play whichever side. Armand Membou is the pick here as he slips in this mock draft. He has mostly played right tackle, but the Steelers hope they can mold the young prospect into a swing tackle who can develop into a starter.
Steelers mock draft round 5: Kurtis Rourke, QB, Indiana
It seems like Russell Wilson will be back, but both Justin Fields and Kyle Allen are pending free agents. The Steelers will probably take at least one quarterback, and they take Kurtis Rourke in this mock draft. He is an older quarterback coming out of college and started his first years of college at Ohio, which is a MAC school. He is a perfect developmental backup prospect for Pittsburgh.
Steelers mock draft round 7: Antwaun Powell-Ryland, EDGE, Virginia Tech
Wow, what a pick at this point in the mock draft with the Steelers taking another pass rush specialist. Antwaun Powell-Ryland is a quality pass rusher who has only gotten better each season. His size and skill set would be a tremendous fit to fill out Pittsburgh's outside linebacker group. Another quick tidbit, Powell-Ryland is from the same area that Mike Tomlin grew up around, which is another plus.
Steelers mock draft round 7: Samuel Brown, WR, Miami
Pittsburgh drafts another receiver to end this mock draft. Samuel Brown has not produced as much as his fellow Miami teammates in an explosive offense, but he is still an interesting prospect. He remains young despite playing on three different college teams thus far. His size and ability to play outside as a receiver should interest the Steelers to see if he can battle onto the roster.
