Steelers inactive list for Week 7 game vs. Jets
Tonight the Steelers will welcome into the starting lineup quarterback Russell Wilson and outside linebacker Alex Highsmith. Both players have spent a large chunk of the season on the inactive list and Pittsburgh is hoping both can boost the Black & Gold to a much-needed victory.
While those two names come off, a few more go on the inactive list this week. One notable addition is rookie center Zach Frazier who injured his ankle late in last week's win over the Raiders.
Their opponents, the Jets, are mostly healthy as most players on their injury report throughout the week look ready to go with few exceptions. Recently acquired wide receiver Davante Adams is expected to play and contribute despite missing the last few weeks as a Raider with a hamstring injury.

Offensive Impacts
The Steelers will look different on offense in large part because Russell Wilson is making his first start. However, another significant change will be at center as Zach Frazier will miss the contest due to an ankle injury. Ryan McCollum will get the start in his place.
Cordarrelle Patterson is still down with his ankle injury, so the rushing attack will still be limited to Najee Harris and Jaylen Warren.
Roman Wilson, who got his first NFL action last week, is back on the inactive list with a new injury. He popped up on the injury report with a hamstring injury on Thursday and was limited at practice for the final two days. Without the practice reps, it's no surprise he doesn't get a helmet for the 6th time in seven weeks.
Defensive Impacts
Even though Alex Highsmith is back in the starting lineup, Nick Herbig remains out with a hamstring injury. This leaves the Steelers rather thin on the edge of the defense with Jeremiah Moon serving as the third outside backer for tonight's contest.

What to Know
The Jets are mostly healthy, though they will be without contributing defensive backs Michael Carter II and DJ Reed. New York will still have Sauce Gardner matched up with George Pickens. With the Steelers' lack of inspiring options behind Pickens, the injuries shouldn't be too problematic for New York.
