The Pittsburgh Steelers hit the road for a date with the Las Vegas Raiders at Allegiant Stadium as fans are once again in for a treat as two classic NFL uniforms take the field.

The Steelers and Raiders have a rivalry rooted in history. When the Black and Gold takes on the Silver and Black, the stakes are always high and the hits sting just a bit more. Just like that crisp fall air screams football, so too is the image of the Steelers lining up across from the Raiders on the gridiron.

Despite being the host for Sunday's afternoon contest, the Raiders have made no official announcement of what uniforms they will wear. As one of the few teams in the NFL without an alternative uniform in 2024, it's usually a foregone conclusion which threads Las Vegas will wear in each contest.

To no surprise, the Raiders will light Al Davis's eternal flame as the Raiders take the field in their black jerseys.

The Steelers helped clarify the uniform matchup with a post on X earlier in the week signaling the Steelers will wear their typical road whites.

Typically, both franchises stick to their standard home and away uniforms, so the matchup isn't a surprise. Still, if all-time trends are of any concern, the Steelers often struggle against the Raiders as the road team.

The Raiders hold the lead in the all-time record between the two historic programs at 14-12. That record is largely supported by the Raiders' home record against Pittsburgh, which stands at 8-5.

The Steelers made a dent in that record last season under similar circumstances, breaking a 4-game losing streak on the road against the Raiders. Staring down the Black Hole at Allegiant Stadium, Pittsburgh will look to do it again this Sunday.
