ESPN’s Draft guru Todd McShay released his fourth mock draft on Monday morning and the pick he has slated for the Steelers is a head-scratcher. McShay has the Steelers, who have obvious pass-rushing and defensive back needs, picking up defensive end Arik Armstead out of Oregon. McShay describes Armstead as a good value pick but says his last of production as a pass-rusher is something of a concern.
I don’t claim to be a draft expert myself but how could you describe a player as a value pick for a team whose biggest need is a pass rusher and then say the player has bad pass-rushing skills? That’s what mocks are for I guess.
