Steelers fans will get the answers to questions about if the Steelers will face the defending Super Bowl Champion New England Patriots in the season opener or if the Steelers’ request to have their west coast games scheduled back-to-back was honored by the league. I mocked the Steelers schedule for this season last week, so I’ll be looking forward to seeing how close I came.

We already know that we’ll be without the services of Le’Veon Bell for at least the first three games of the season while he serves his suspension for his arrest for DUI from last summer. Bell has appealed the length of the suspension so he may not end up having to miss all of the first three games but he’ll definitely be out if the Steelers face the Patriots in Week 1.

It is always interesting to see how many prime time games the Steelers get scheduled but remember that the NFL can now “flex” games into Sunday Night Football as early as Week 5 and after Week 11 all of the games are up for grabs for Sunday Night Football. Thursday and Monday night games cannot be flexed.
