The Steelers pulled off a huge win in Washington DC that came down to the final minutes of the game. Sunday's game was the first real test for the Steelers all season and showed they were able to go toe to toe and win against one of the top offenses in the NFL.

Pittsburgh late in the 4th quarter seemed to have lost all sorts of hopes of a comeback after Jaylen Warren's fumble on the one-yard line. However, with one last drive to win the game a newly acquired playmaker was able to play hero with a game-winning play.

Play of the game: Mike Williams game clinching TD catch

Newly acquired wide receiver Mike Williams, traded last week from the New York Jets, made a memorable first impression despite limited action. He initially saw just a few snaps, stepping in only after Calvin Austin left the game to enter concussion protocol.

But with 2:27 remaining on a crucial 3rd and 9, Williams took advantage of the opportunity. Under heavy pressure, Russell Wilson launched one of his signature moon ball throws, and Williams pulled it in for a 32-yard touchdown that ended up being the play that won it for the Steelers.

It’s exciting to see Williams make an immediate impact after a challenging season with the Jets. As he gets more acclimated, he’s likely to secure the WR2 role over Van Jefferson, becoming a core part of the offensive game plan.

Next week’s high-stakes matchup against the Ravens, with the winner taking sole possession of first place in the AFC North, will be a prime opportunity for Williams to get more looks in both play-action and deep-passing plays.

This will be crucial for keeping pace with the Ravens’ offense, which might be the hottest in the NFL right now.
