Another week where the Steelers couldn't find a way to win their game. It is their second loss of the season, and it seems like plenty of problems are starting to come to light. Worse yet, their opponents seem privy to attacking those weaknesses until the Steelers have an answer to solve their issues. Perhaps the worst news is that the black and gold seem to have no solutions right now.

Some might not like looking ahead towards the draft this early into the season. The reality is that Pittsburgh doesn't have a great chance of being relevant this year. They fooled many with their hot start to the schedule, but they could very easily be undefeated through five weeks or have more losses than they currently hold.

Fans could be turning their attention to the draft if this trend continues.

Steelers mock draft round 1: Emery Jones, OT, LSU

. Offensive tackle. 1. 529. . . Jones. Emery Jones. Emery Jones. player

You can hear the cries about drafting another tackle in the first round from here. It might not make sense on the surface, but Broderick Jones is starting to get into bust territory, and that could mean taking another offensive tackle. Troy Fautanu is out with injury, but he could always slide into the right guard spot if Mason McCormick fails to show he can be the starter for the foreseeable future.

Steelers mock draft round 2: Evan Stewart, WR, Oregon

Stewart. . Evan Stewart. 515. . 2. player. Wide receiver. . Evan Stewart

After their shocking pick in round one of this mock draft, the Steelers finally addressed their need at receiver. Evan Stewart hasn't started off the season as many anticipated at Oregon. He is still an explosive player who can cause headaches for opposing defenses. Stewart has a ton of speed and has shown great ability to run effective routes throughout his college career.

Steelers mock draft round 3: Dorian Strong, CB, Virginia Tech

3. . Dorian Strong. player. . Cornerback . . Dorian Strong. 447. Strong

Might seem somewhat early to take Dorian Strong at this point in the mock draft, but he possesses size and lockdown ability. There are plenty of quality cornerback prospects who have emerged from the Virginia Tech program in recent years. The Steelers might need another starter opposite of Joey Porter Jr., and someone like Strong could be the perfect option to slide into that vacancy.

Steelers mock draft round 4: Conner Weigman, QB, Texas A&M

. player. 535. Quarterback. . Conner Weigman. Weigman. 4. Conner Weigman.

No matter if the Steelers stick with Russell Wilson or Justin Fields, they still need to retool their quarterback room. It is possible that neither Wilson nor Fields work out and Pittsburgh attacks the position heavily in the draft process. Conner Weigman is a great project player coming out of the draft. He looks the part and is someone with plenty of traits that could develop into a quality player.

Steelers mock draft round 5: Smael Mondon Jr., LB, Georgia

. Smael Mondon Jr.. . Smael Mondon Jr.. 5. player. Mondon. . 527. Linebacker

Not many have been talking about it, but the inside linebacker group for the Steelers has been average at best during the early goings. They might need to redo that group this offseason again if this trend continues. Smael Mondon Jr. is still sitting there in this mock draft and Pittsburgh scoops him up. He is an undersized guy out of Georgia, but he can do everything required for the position.

Steelers mock draft round 5: Donovan Edwards, RB, Michigan

. Running back. . Donovan Edwards. player. Edwards. Donovan Edwards. 5. 485.

With Najee Harris as good as gone from the Steelers after this season, they need someone to replace him. Donovan Edwards is used to a duel-running back group. He is starting his year hot at Michigan, despite a down year in the program as a whole. Edwards has a good burst and has shown good numbers both in the run game and catching the ball out of the backfield.

Steelers mock draft round 7: Joshua Farmer, DT, Florida State

. . . 7. 435. Defensive tackle. Joshua Farmer. Joshua Farmer. Farmer. player

A lot of quality players still sit on the Florida State roster, even though the program is off to a terrible start to their campaign. Joshua Farmer had a terrific season last year and has started producing quality numbers again this time around. The Steelers add a young moldable defensive lineman at this point in the mock draft. Farmer could push guys for a roster spot and could develop into a starter.

Steelers mock draft round 7: Xavier Scott, S, Illinois

Xavier Scott. 7. 481. Safety. . player. Scott . . . Xavier Scott

It has been a whirlwind start for Illinois this season. One of the best groups on their team is the secondary they possess. Xavier Scott is one of the better players on their roster and is someone the Steelers would love to add in a depth role. Scott is a turnover machine and has not shied away from tackling. He is currently on a path to producing the best statistical season in his college career.
